  14. Kelly says:

    Brian,

Glad you liked my post. I had to be kind of fun with it, as I recently answered a challenge from a friend that was also rather self-promotional (link in the post I did for you—it’s a good challenge). You’ll have the last laugh, though, because I suspect this is going to take off!

  16. Brian Yerkes says:

    Hi Rob

Yeah, I thought it would be fun to see everyone’s cards. I figured most bloggers are involved with a company, or work for themselves, so really everyone is going to have a card of some sort!

Also, my website here has been ranked pretty well on Google lately along with a PR 4, so I thought I would give some of that link juice back to the people that have helped get this blog off the ground.

    Thanks for your addition.

    Nancy,

    Thanks for your comment.

    Kelly,

I did see that previous challenge you did, and thought it was quite interesting. When I started this blog, the finishing touch on the layout was the big “Brian Joseph Studios” graphic at the top right!

    Hey Rob,

You know, when I started creating this post…meme… (whatever it should be called!), I wanted to display a few cards right away. So, I went on the hunt for business cards of the blogs that I read, and all that I could find was David Airey’s and yours.

I didn’t really search too hard, but it did make this post all the more purposeful so that we could display everyone’s cards and get them out there. My goal for this post is to have so many participants and visitors that my website crashes one day! That’s always a good sign when starting a website! haha

  17. Hey Brian, thanks for including me in your business card bash. I’m looking forward to seeing who else gets included.

(And I see David had two cards listed – his own and Tammy’s. Good going David!)

    Hi Brian,

I came to grab the URL for this post and recommend you to a friend today, and I noticed that my card is from before I switched the blog to WordPress which means those MCE Blog links aren’t working anymore!

I’ll have to get you photos of the revised card to put up. In the meantime, I took a look through everyone’s cards again—this is getting to be such a nice grouping! (Selene—I love that card!) I still recommend people come look and submit all the time. :)

I’m no longer a designer by profession, as you’ll see when you look at my card. And my card may violate every current design law.

The cards above are all quite nice, but at least 2 violate laws I learned when practicing.

Ah, well, laws change and old dogs new tricks, right?

Business cards are getting obsolete. In the future, we will exchange business cards on our internet enabled phone, our iPhone or a Connector. No. Really. Connect with me at http://eee.am/ruudvanwijngaarden to find out.

In the future, bloggers will have business cards online, and still exchange them in real life. Thats is what it is all about.

I’ve ran across another blog post about choosing blogs or business card but I beleive i doesn’t come dont to choosing either a blog or business card–it’s useful to have both as a supplement to one another as tools of advertisement.

I think what you have here is awesome.
I’ll try to come up with my own business card soon :D
